Our Mission

Our goal is to provide, to the best of our ability, an enjoyable golfing experience, on a well maintained course, in the best tradition of our founders.

Our History

Reynolds Golf Club was established in 1929 by a group of 40 men who formed a corporation, whose charter was to provide facilities for the pursuit of healthful activities, including golf, tennis, and swimming.  Land was acquired, wells were drilled, and artesian flow was the fortuitous result, these wells provided chilling 64 degree water for a swimming pool that was in operation until the 1980's.  Two of the original three artesian wells are still flowing today.

Clay tennis courts were built, and after some years of disuse, were replaced by lighted concrete courts in the late 1960's.  The tennis courts are not currentlly in operation. 

The Golf Course was constructed on the site of a farm aquired by the corporation as a depression era forclosure.  Originally laid out as a four hole course with sand greens, it was later expanded to 6 holes, and again to the present 9 holes.  The Golf Course continues to be an important part of the Community, with an active membership and guest players from Reynolds, the surrounding area and beyond.
